Archive of correspondence etc. concerning Robert Johnson's involvement as a freelance civil engineer with railway building in Brazil, Portugal and elsewhere. Some 120 letters, copy letters, memoranda, estimates, sketch plans etc. (including correspondence from Brassey, Vignoles and Portuguese officials).
